That’s why we created East Coast Tuna Co. – a step forward in making Australian fish more accessible while keeping sustainability and quality at the core.

With East Coast Tuna Co., you’ll start seeing more Australian-caught fish in stores. And don’t worry—Little Tuna isn’t going anywhere! You can always find your 100% Australian-caught & made tuna on our website.

Bringing Australian Tuna Back to More Australians

When we set out on this journey in early 2024, our mission was clear: to make sustainable Australian tuna more affordable and accessible while continuing to support Australian fishing families.

But the path hasn’t been easy. Over 20 years ago, Australia’s large-scale canning infrastructure was sold off, leaving no local MSC-certified facilities to meet the high standards required for ethical and sustainable production.

After months of research and site visits, we found a trusted MSC-certified cannery in Thailand—a state-of-the-art facility that upholds the highest standards in sustainability, traceability, and ethical practices.

This partnership allows us to stay true to our core values:
